Perspective | Facing Northwest |
Taken before disposal of the Bonneville Lock Project spoils (October 1992) and the first industrial development (December 1993), Marina Park and the original boat launch can be seen in the background beyond Bingen Harbor. In addition, Bingen Lake and the Mount Adams Loggers Association operation can be seen along the left edge of the photograph. Counting toward the left from the tip of the point, buildings 1A, 1B, and 1C would be constructed between the second and third windbreaks (rows of trees) and buildings 1D and 1E would be built between the the third and forth windbreaks. The "Bingen Speed Rock" (installed March 21, 1989) can be seen in the grass just left of the tip of the point.
