Help for employers is available through WSCG, a part of WorkSource Central Washington and the state-wide WorkSource system and located on Jewett Blvd. in nearby White Salmon. Created to help bring employers and potential employees together, this branch of the Employment Security Department can be a key ally in the success of your business and is one of the Port's important partners in creating an attractive business environment in Klickitat County. Their mission is "to provide an effective, comprehensive, and fully integrated delivery system of services for successful employment. To bring together business, economic development, employment, training, education, labor, and social services, to share responsibility for universal access and workforce development, to share resources to increase service delivery capacity and efficiency, and to provide access to information and services across organizational lines."
